We are initiating a transfer of existing accounts to new servers with SSD disks. If you agree on the transfer, there are several things to keep in mind.
1. When transfer on the server with SSD disk is done, the IP-address of server, where Shared hosting account is placed, will be changed.
If you use our NS-servers for domain, the website will be pointed to a new IP-address automatically: there is nothing to change in domain DNS configuration. We have lowered TTL from our side for DNS propagation to take less time.
If you do not use our NS-servers for domain, website should be pointed to a new IP-address manually. IP-address should be set in DNS-records editing panel of domain.
You will be notified with a new IP-address after the transfer is completed. Also, a new IP-address can be found in cPanel > General Information > Server information. As soon as IP-address is changed, DNS propagation process starts.
Our nameservers are the following: dns1.sitevalley.com, dns2.sitevalley.com.
To check which NS-servers are in use of your domain you can open such services as https://www.whois.net/ or https://who.is/. Type in domain name, click on Enter button and see which NS-servers are set for domain in "nserver" fields.
IP-address change for domain initiates update of this information in the DNS system (process calls DNS propagation), which lasts from 1 to 8 hours and is carried in automatic mode. In this period of time the temporary inaccessibility for website visitors is possible.
2. After transfer is done, the link which is used for cPanel login, will be changed also. The new link will be provided to you via ticket. Login and password will not be changed.
3. If you had a dedicated IP-address, it will appear on the server with SSD disk (we will try to leave it unchanged).
